I struggled a bit with the design of this site. I didn't really know who David Bowie was, and I didn't have time to do much research into who the potential audience would be. I did my best to make the design attractive with the limited time and resources available to me.
In hindsight, I made life hard for myself by putting what is sort of the header image at the bottom of the page. Then I had to contend with the whole sidebar-inside-a-sidebar thing which was really nasty. On the whole though, mine was one of the better looking sites of this assignment, if I do say so myself.
The structure of the site is limited, the entire thing can't be more than 10 pages. I was still learning about good site structure at this point, and I think we all got so hung up on how there needed to be x number of lyrics pages, this and that on the form, that it was just pulled together with little oversight. This site, like all of our first year projects, though, did have to pass W3C HTML/CSS validation, which I think it did at the time.
